Newington ICT has working relationships with Dell, Apple and our Apple-authorised repair center. If your device is damaged or faulty your options are dependent on your insurance policy or warranty.

ICT Support and Repairs

Newington ICT has working relationships with Dell, Apple and our Newington’s Apple authorised repair center, our Ideal Store. If your device is damaged or faulty your options are dependent on your insurance policy or warranty.

If your device is faulty

Please note that iPad Air 2 is a non-repairable item and the only option available is to replace the device. Newington currently work with an Ideal Store who offer competitive pricing on replacement devices not covered under warranty, contact ICT for more information.

If you suspect your device is faulty you may experience errors or are unable to use some or all of its functionality; you have the following options:

  • If you are covered under warranty you can visit the ICT Service Desk for assistance. ICT will provide you with a temporary loan device free of charge while they repair or replace your device. This process can take up to two weeks to complete. We recommend you back up your device before bringing it to ICT wherever possible.
  • If you are no longer covered under warranty you can still visit ICT who will seek a quote for repair of your device, however, this may take up around two weeks and you will be required to rent a device from us while it is being repaired.

If your device has experienced accidental damage

If you have a valid Insurance Policy you can visit the ICT Service Desk for assistance. ICT will provide you with a temporary loan device free of charge whilst they facilitate repair or replace your device. This process can take up to two weeks to complete. We recommend you to back up your device before bringing it to ICT wherever possible.

Please bring a completed Insurance Claim form before visiting ICT to ensure this process is handled as quickly as possible. This form requires all fields to be completed and an up to date contact telephone number and email address is available.

If you are no longer covered under a valid Insurance Policy you can visit ICT who will seek a quote for repair of your device, however, this may take up around 2 weeks and you will be required to rent a device from us whilst the repair is being facilitated.

If you have AppleCare+ for your iPad you can make up to 2 claims and receive a replacement device for a small fee, visit ICT for more information.
