The syllabus includes Australian curriculum content and reflects the new directions of the Stronger HSC Standards reforms.<\/span><span requirements of the Biology course.)\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Biology can be studied ON ITS OWN or alongside ONE or TWO other Science courses.\u00a0<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Course Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Biology is the science of life.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">It concerns itself with\u202fthe ways in which living things interact with each other and the environment and how life has developed during the course of the\u202fEarth\u2019s history.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Biologists study the structure, function, growth, origin, evolution and distribution of living organisms.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">This course\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">covers\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">the rich<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0diversity\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">and interconnectedness\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">of life\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">while<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">exploring<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0solutions to health and sustainability
