Industrial Technology Stage 6 consists of project work and an Industry Study that develop a broad range of skills and knowledge\u202frelated to the industry focus area chosen, as well as offering an introduction to industrial processes and practices. The Focus Area at Newington is\u202fTimber\u202fProducts and Furniture Technologies.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the Preliminary course, students must design, develop and construct\u00a0a number of\u00a0projects. Each project must include a management folio. Students also undertake the study of an individual business within the industry.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the HSC course, students must design, develop and construct a major project with a management folio. They also undertake a\u202fstudy of the overall industry related to the specific focus area.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
