It focuses on information processes performed by these systems and the technology that allows them to take place. Processes and skills covered include collecting, organising, analysing, storing\/retrieving, processing, transmitting\/receiving and displaying information. Different types of information systems are\u00a0studied\u00a0and social, ethical and non-computer issues are considered.
