Biography
Deb Abela is a young adult fiction author and children’s picture book writer. She has also written and produced for children’s television.
Her most notable works are the Max Remy: Superspy series, the Jasper Zammit (Soccer Legend) series, and the Grimsdon trilogy. She has also written a number of stand-alone novels including The Stupendously Spectacular Spelling Bee, Teresa: A New Australian, The Remarkable Secret of Aurelie Bonhoffen, as well as two picture books: Bear in Space and Wolfie: An Unlikely Hero. Her latest novel is The Book of Wondrous Possibilities.
Deb is also a Room to Read Ambassador.
