On Friday 30 October Le Couteur House successfully sold 327 bandannas for National Bandanna Day. The money raised goes to an extremely worthy charity, CanTeen which helps young people who are being affected either directly or indirectly by cancer.\u00a0<\/p>\n
With the money raised on National Bandanna Day, CanTeen is able to continue to provide programs to help young boys and girls get their mind off the stresses of their everyday lives, and provides them with opportunities to socialise with people who can empathise with their struggles.<\/p>\n
Organised by House Captain\u00a0Elliot Ulm (11\/LE)<\/strong>, this day went off without a hitch. With students from all Year groups getting involved a splash of colour was added to school uniforms in the form of a bandanna.\u00a0Personally as a \u201cteam leader\u201d I was astounded by the magnitude of\u00a0enthusiasm from\u00a0students and teachers who got involved. However, no one could match the enthusiasm exuded from the lovely Cafeteria ladies. Overall this was a great day with all proceeds going towards a very worthy cause.<\/p>\n The boys raised in total $1,687!
