For one week, Languages students will engage in a range of authentic and immersive experiences to enhance their language learning. Many activities will be held during the week, both within language classes and also at other times, enabling the whole Newington community to join in. The whole school experiences include a selfie competition and languages escape room. We will also have a special languages assembly and our annual \u2018Poetry Competition and Languages Showcase Evening\u2019.<\/p>\n
Our theme for this year\u2019s Languages week is \u2018Experiencing Newington through the languages we learn\u2019<\/strong>. We hope through this to celebrate the languages spoken at Newington College and increase understanding of the importance of maintaining one\u2019s language in order to maintain one\u2019s identity.
