It is important to note that classes rely on viable numbers and in some cases class numbers will be capped due to access to specialist facilities.

As a result there is no guarantee that all subjects listed in this booklet will be offered in Year 8 2024. Whilst every attempt is made to satisfy as many of the boys’ choices as possible, certain subject combinations may not be possible due to timetabling constraints.

Boys should select subjects that reflect different skills, disciplines and ways of working to get the best balance from their pattern of study. We ask that students do not select two practical technology elective subjects in Year 8.
