The 11th Biennial LitFest will feature many special guests: authors, illustrators, performers and journalists.
LitFest History
Newington College hosted its first LitFest in 2001, to promote a love of reading within the school and the wider community, and to help school-aged children discover a world of new stories and adventure through the written word.
Author Workshops
Through their classes the boys will have the opportunity to discuss and familiarise themselves with the work of the presenters they will be seeing. They will also have the opportunity to attend individual and group workshops with the authors and presenters.
Room to Read
In conjunction with the LitFest the Newington College community will have the opportunity to give the gift of education and literacy to children in third world countries by raising funds for the Room to Read, a charitable organisation.
