Strength & Conditioning in our High-Performance Facility, available for group classes or individual 1:1 coaching for members of the Newington Community including students led by qualified coaches.

Group Strength & Conditioning Classes

These classes are available to staff and mothers from the Newington Community and are led by qualified strength and conditioning coaches. Classes are periodised per term to build strength, fitness, and learn new movements to progress each individual on their training journey. Classes vary between Strength, Circuit, Boxing, Core and Running. Modifications can be made for any injuries or limitations, and are suitable for any fitness level. Train in a motivating environment, meet other members of the Newington Community and be a part of a superior training program!

  • Staff training groups – Tuesdays and Thursdays 6am (45min)
  • Mothers training groups – Monday to Friday 8.45am (60min)

1:1 Private Strength & Conditioning Sessions

Individual coaching sessions include periodised programming tailored to meet the needs and demands of your sport and training goals. Progress is monitored and tested from qualified coaches and includes a program for you to work on in each session, and in your own training in between seeing your coach. Sessions are held at the Stanmore Athletic Performance Facility in the Taylor Sports Centre, allowing execution of the session to be completed in a private space, which includes Olympic Lifting platforms, free standing 3-celled double sided rig, free weights, agility and cardio equipment. Coaching is also available if you are returning from an injury or working with an ongoing condition, to return you back to full training capacity. Aspects such as sleep hygiene, nutrition, mobility and recovery recommendations can be included in your training program upon request.
