Back to Newington Day (BTND) is fast approaching on Saturday 13 August, where the whole school community will come together to celebrate a day of friendship, flavours from around the world, exciting home sports fixtures and plenty of fun for everyone in the family.
We will have an exciting number of stalls on the day such as delicious food, cake, flower, book and recycled fashion stalls plus cafes, a kindifarm, jumping castles and so much more.
To make it a successful day, we need as many parents as possible to please volunteer. Last BTND saw more than 500 parent volunteers contribute. It’s a great way to meet and connect with other Newington families from across our three campuses.

You can volunteer to help at one or many of the stalls listed, for as long as you are able to.
We are calling for donations of pre-loved books and designer fashion that you would give to your best friend. You can drop them off at the Property Department or to Centenary Hall before Friday 12 August.
Our famous lemonade stall also needs as many lemons as you can donate, and these can be dropped off by the 5th August, giving us plenty of time to make the delicious syrup.
We’re looking forward to receiving donations of baked goodies for this year’s famous NEW Social Black & White cake stall, a much-loved fixture of Back to Newington Day. Your son will be bringing home a cake box and we ask you to fill it with baked goods for the cake stall. This stall runs entirely on donations from the college community and its success depends on your generous donations. If you would like some recipe ideas, here our some of our favourites – all the recipes are easy, delicious and have been great sellers in the past. Baked goods can be dropped to the Cake Stall up until 12.00pm (noon) on BTND.
The money raised on the day is distributed across our co-curricular support groups and broader P&F operations (Lindfield, Wyvern/ELC and Stanmore). This year we will also be donating a percentage of proceeds to our Newington Scholarship Fund
