Biography
John Larkin is an Australian children’s and young adult author. His published works include Goon Town, Horse Girl Rides Again, Spaghetti Legs, Pizza Features, Ghost Byte, Growing Payne, Lasagne Brain and Nostradamus and Instant Noodles, as well as the Western Wildcats children’s series. His latest works include The Shadow Girl and The Pause.
John initially set out to become a professional soccer player but was unable to fulfill his dream after suffering a long-term injury. He writes full time and gives lectures and workshops on creative writing all over the country, as well as being the Writer in Residence at Knox Grammar School.
