Our Diverse Boarding Family

Our dynamic and close knit community makes the Boarding House a home away from home for our boarders.

Boarding has been at the heart of Newington College for over a century. Newington boarders benefit from close access to all of the College’s state-of-the-art facilities and the extra support of the other boarders and staff who make up the ‘Boarding Family’.

More than just classmates, the boarders are a diverse group of boys from a range of backgrounds. They are:

  • Country boys
  • International students
  • Boys from different parts of metropolitan Sydney

Living so close to school makes it easier for me to access all the resources the school has on offer. I am are able to make the most out of every opportunity given to me at Newington.

- Lachlan Reid, Year 12 Boarder
